FFL Workbench is a back-office tool for firearms dealers. This policy says what we collect when your shop uses it, what we do with it, and the choices you have. “Your shop” means the organization you create or join; “we” means FFL Workbench.

What we collect

How we use it

To run the service for your shop: show your costs and stock, build your lists and buy plans, sync your distributor feeds, bill your subscription, keep the service secure, and help you when you ask for support.

Industry insights

We combine usage from many shops into anonymized figures about the industry: which products dealers look up, wait on, order and sell, by week and by state, and how often distributors had them in stock. We may share or sell these combined figures to distributors, manufacturers and other industry partners.

Who else sees your data

No other shop. We use service providers to run FFL Workbench (hosting, payments through Stripe, email, and competitor-price lookups), and they handle data only to provide their service to us. Support staff can view your shop read-only, for an hour at a time, when helping you; every page they open is logged. We disclose data when the law requires it.

Keeping it safe and how long we keep it

Data is encrypted in transit, distributor logins are encrypted at rest, and each shop's data is kept apart from every other shop's inside the database itself. We keep your shop's data while you use the service. If you leave, ask us and we will delete it, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices

Admins can change the shop's settings, remove teammates, export the reorder list and audits, and switch industry insights off. To ask a question or have your shop's data deleted, write to [email protected].
